HanDa Korean 4A

Level 4 asks a different question: who is listening? The same thought comes out one way to a friend, another way in a report, and a third way in a news article — and Korean marks the difference in the ending of every sentence.

So the grammar comes in pairs that mean the same thing and belong in different rooms: -기 때문에 against -(으)므로, -보다 against -에 비해. Unit 4 puts the first pair side by side on purpose.
