-지?
Quick answer: -지? means right? — you already think so and want it confirmed.
How to form it
Stem + 지? · the polite form is -지요? · -죠?
In Korean: 어간 + 지? 존댓말은 -지요? · -죠?
What to know
-지? is not a real question — you already believe the answer and are inviting the other person to agree. That is why 「이름이 뭐지?」 sounds odd to a stranger: you cannot already know their name. Its polite form is -지요?, often shortened to -죠?.
Examples
- 그렇지?Right?
- 이름을 부르지?You call each other by name, do you not?
- 시간 있지?You have time, do you not?
