Common problems and how to fix them

Login & Account

Can't log in with Google

Clear your browser cookies, try an incognito window, and make sure pop-ups are allowed for handakorean.com. If the issue persists, try Chrome.

Didn't receive a verification email

Check your spam folder first. If it's not there, wait a few minutes and try signing up again with the same email.

Audio & Microphone

Microphone not working

Go to your browser's site settings and make sure microphone access is set to "Allow." On mobile, check Settings → Privacy → Microphone.

Can't hear audio

Make sure your device volume is on and your browser tab isn't muted. On iOS, check that Silent Mode is off. Chrome and Safari work best.

Pronunciation score seems off

Find a quiet space, speak at a natural pace, and hold your device about 6–12 inches from your mouth. A headset microphone gives the most consistent results.

Chat & AI

AI response is slow

Responses usually take 2–5 seconds. If it's taking longer, check your connection and refresh the page. Occasional delays can happen during high traffic.

Session ended unexpectedly

Sessions have a turn limit based on your plan. When you reach the limit, the session closes with a summary and you can start a new one (daily session limits apply).

Payment & Subscription

Payment failed

Check that your card has sufficient funds and allows international transactions. If the problem continues, try a different payment method or contact your bank.

Paid but still showing Free plan

It can take up to 30 seconds for your plan to update. Refresh the page or log out and back in. If it still shows Free after 5 minutes, contact [email protected] with your payment confirmation.

HanDa works best on the latest version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. Voice features require a modern browser — Chrome is recommended for the most reliable experience.
