HanDa | AI Korean Tutor App

HanDa is an AI Korean tutor app for iOS and Android. Learners practice Korean by speaking with four AI teachers who correct grammar, word choice, speech level, and pronunciation in real time.

Core features

Download HanDa on the App Store or get HanDa on Google Play.

See it in action

Speaking with an AI teacher. In a cafe role-play the learner orders 아이스 아메리카노 하나 주세요, then says 어제도 여기 와요 (wrong tense). The teacher answers in character (네, 포장해 드릴게요. 어제도 오셨어요?) and shows a correction card: 어제도 여기 왔어요, because 어제 (yesterday) needs the past tense. Watch the 11-second screen recording.

A real course, from Hangul to Level 6

Not just chat. HanDa has 190 textbook lessons across six levels (32 lessons per level, 30 at Level 4), plus a Hangul course. Here is how a lesson goes:

  1. Learn the words: every lesson starts with its words, each one read aloud.
  2. Spot the pattern, then the rule: see the grammar in real sentences first, then get the rule in one line (for example, N이에요/예요: final consonant → 이에요, no final consonant → 예요).
  3. Check yourself: a quick quiz right away, with the answer read back to you.
  4. Say it out loud: speak your own sentence, then use it in a conversation with your tutor.

Watch a 15-second recording of Level 1, Lesson 1.

Questions before you start

Do I need to read Hangul before I start?

No. HanDa starts with a Hangul course inside the app, and you can also learn the alphabet for free at handakorean.com/learn/hangul.

How does the 7-day free trial work?

Start the trial in the app through the App Store or Google Play. If you cancel before the 7 days end, you are not charged.

How do I cancel?

Cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Is there a refund?

The 6-month plan has a 3-day money-back guarantee after its first payment. Monthly plans are not refundable, but you can cancel anytime.
